MEET OUR PASTOR
Janice McCrostie is a graduate of Drew Theological School, graduating in the spring of 2021, receiving her Masters in Divinity. Prior to attending seminary, Janice served as the Director of Children and Youth Ministry at Denville Community Church for 7 years. She feels blessed to be appointed to Belvidere United Methodist Church, where she looks forward to continuing the work of the congregation, spreading the love of God to all, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Janice has worked with The Search for Christian Maturity and the 4th Day Reunion Retreats since 2002 and continues to serve on the Search Retreat as a spiritual advisor.
Before answering God’s call on her life, Janice worked in theatre, receiving a Bachelor of the Arts from West Virginia Wesleyan College and a Masters in Literature, with a concentration in Play Writing, from Glasgow University. A lifelong United Methodist, Janice grew up in Mount Tabor, New Jersey, and attended Mt. Tabor UMC.
